Near the city center of salzburg you will find our house Am Moos. The street from our house - so called Moosstrasse - will end directly in the old city center. The busride from our house in to city center can be between 10 to 20 minutes. In bigger citys as Salzburg you have to use bus or underground all day long to visit the sights and fame places. From our house you only have to use bus once and then all the fame sights are in walking distance. The busstop is outside of our house and the bus nr 21 brings you straight and very easy to all the fame sights in Salzurg. The bus is running at every 15 minutes-sunday and evening every 30 minutes.Last bus back to our house -everyday- is at 23.10 . We are in the area of the so discribed Leopoldskroner Moos with the lake and the castle Schloss Leopoldskron - generally famous from the motion - picture Sound of music. Of course you are free to use our parking places.

The glass pavilion was reconstructed for the pleasure of those fans still returning after 30 years. Nonnberg Abbey - the oldest convent in the German speaking part of Europe. Maria was a novice there. The baron and Maria were married here in 1927. St. Gilgen and Lake Wolfgang - the beginning of the movie was filmed at Lake Fuschl on the way to St.Gilgen. Like the Mozart family, visitors from all over the world appreciate the beautiful village in the Salzkammergut. Wedding Church Mondsee - here, the film-wedding between Julie Andrews as Maria and Christopher Plummer as the Baron took place.
